Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Unicorn Lake, and Dry Fork Hickory Creek is right next door to Post Oak Place and is always a pleasure to explore.

This campground is so glorious. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Denton Creek, and great hiking is available along
the Leonard L Woods Park Trail.
It's just not possible to run out of amusing stuff to do near Post Oak Place; it is one of lots of wonderful campgrounds in this vicinity. Going camping here in Texas is something you have to do. There's whitewater on Johnson Creek for all you
adrenaline rush seekers, and you can go for a hike on the Pilot Knoll Trail.
