In the event that you enjoy whitewater, there is the Kimble CR 310 to Kimble CR 314 sector, a grade I-II whitewater section on Llano River, 12 miles long. For those inexperienced in whitewater paddling this section of Llano River may be an amusing place to raft. Of course, whitewater paddling is enjoyable but dangerous; check the situation before you go. Don't leave Pecan Valley RV Park without first going  
    for a hike along the Walter Buck Wildlife Management Area Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Junction here, and as expected Elm Slough flows through this neighborhood. This is such a tremendous campground. A journey to South
  Llano River State Park revitalizes the spirit, and Lake Junction Dam has great water scenery. Here at Pecan Valley RV Park you can see Round Top; close by you locate Kountz Draw which is a good place to stop at. Summertime highs at Pecan Valley RV Park generally tend to be in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 60's while Pecan Valley RV Park nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
