Through the warm days of summer here at Overland Trail Campground, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly   in the 60's with temperatures at Overland Trail Campground dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. It is very dehydrated here at Overland Trail Campground frequently; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is March. Here at Overland Trail Campground there are plenty of folks from Pecos, and a spree to Davis Mountains State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
