Mission Bell Resort, Texas Custom Search   Mission Bell-Trade Winds RV Resort is a 55+ RV and mobile home park designed with seniors in mind.  Boasting the largest and most acousically sound dance/recreation hall in the Rio Grande Valley, this Resort is known for its great location and activities.  Within 15 minutes are 5 great golf courses, a major shopping mall, the McAllen Convention Center, a huge movie complex and many major restaurants.  The Resort boasts beautiful mature trees, concrete pads at every site, paved roads throughout the entire resort and FHUs at each site.  The rates are very     reasonable and include water, sewer, trash, wifi, free long distance calls within the USA and Canada and use of two beautiful recreation halls, two swimming pools, two jacuzzis, two pool halls, laundry facilities, shuffleboard and just about every activity imaginable.  A full time activities director makes your stay loads of fun.  Near the world butterfly and birding center, Mexico and south Padre Island, nature lovers will love this area. The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trail offers hiking at its best, and El Nino Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact bountiful here at Mission Bell Resort. A round of golf at nearby Martin Valley Ranch Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. This is a fine vicinity for folks who like lakes. Sardinas Resaca is   a lake close at hand, and if you're visiting from Mission, you won't be the only one. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Mission Bell Resort is right by the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge Trail, and Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park is worth stopping at. Summertime at Mission Bell Resort arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 60's, and night lows during the wintertime for Mission Bell Resort tend to be in the 40's. There's perfect hiking along the Bentsen - Rio Grande Valley State Park Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Shari Municipal Golf Course.
