Hiking along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail is delightful fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Colorado River offers some delightful whitewater. Outdoors people generally adore this part of Texas. Why not have a look at nearby Llano River while you're here at Longhorn Resort, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Canyon of the Eagles Trail. Resort; there's whitewater on Llano River for all you adrenaline junkies. At Longhorn Resort during the summertime months highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's,
and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Longhorn Resort temperatures descend to the 30's. Longhorn Resort is right by the Inks Lake State Park Trail, and if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Packsaddle Country Club. Longhorn Resort is incredibly popular
with the folks in Kingsland. The Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy Creek. At Longhorn Resort entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and campgrounds like these are
tremendous. Longhorn Cavern State Park is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit, and you'll probably meet some people from Kingsland here.
