For the period of the summer here at Lake Point Resort, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Point Resort dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.   A spree to Blanco State Park revives the spirit, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Jacobs Creek. Lots of fun is at this campground. Guadalupe River State Park is a splendid place to stop at, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Prospect Park Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Guadalupe River, and the view of Baldy Mountain is beautiful. Lake Point Resort is a campground liked by the people from Canyon Lake. Be careful coming to Lake Point Resort, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Get drenched paddling on Blanco River, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Old Hancock Trail.
