There's nice hiking along the Walter Buck Wildlife Management Area Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Llano River. South Llano River State Park is a striking place any time of year; Lake Junction Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. A glorious panorama of charming Round Top is available from Junction KOA Kampground, and nearby you come across Kountz Draw which is a tremendous place to explore. It's a fine idea to take a look at Elm Slough, it's in close proximity to Junction KOA Kampground, and do go to Lake Junction, it's a beautiful lake.
