But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Inks Lake State Park. Going for a hike on the Inks Lake State Park Trail is always a great adventure, and the vista of Post Mountain is picturesque. Good hiking is available along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Burnet here. The splendid local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will positively have   you coming back persistently. There is a fine hiking trail next to Inks Lake State Park called the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail, and a trip to Longhorn Cavern State Park invigorates the soul. There's such a great deal of things to do at Inks Lake State Park including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. This is a delightful campground. There are pleasant places to discover along the Camp Creek Trail. Texas is a great outdoors state. Getting to Daugherty Branch from Inks Lake State Park is uncomplicated, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Cow Creek. Inks Lake State Park gets a common amount of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. You've been indoors for too much time, you have to get out, and Inks Lake State Park in Texas is the outdoors at its finest.
