On a fine day you can check out Kilgore Slough, a swamp in close proximity to Huxley Bay Marina, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Sabine National Forest Trail. The workforce that runs this campground and the admirably maintained facilities are in themselves cause enough to come here.
Huxley Bay Marina is fantastically well esteemed by the folks in Shelbyville.

Huxley Bay Marina in Texas is exactly the spot. Sabine National Forest is a wonderful location to pop by on a delightful day; Huxley Bay Marina is not far at all from Shelbyville. Throughout the warm days of summer at Huxley Bay Marina highs are generally in the 90's. Once the
| sun is down it dips down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Huxley Bay Marina overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
This is such a perfect campground. A visit to North Toledo Bend State Park when you're here at Huxley Bay Marina is never a bad idea; there's some flowing water close by, Myricks Branch is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Texas is a magnificent spot for campers.
