Garner State Park, Texas   There are some good whitewater spots on Hackberry Creek - Nueces River; do take a hike on the Garner State Park Trail. For the period of the months of summer here at Garner State Park, high temperatures typically get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 50's while Garner State Park nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. A number of people stay at Garner State Park for the purpose of being close to Lost Maples State Natural Area. As if Garner State Park wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen. This is a glorious campground. Garner State Park is right by the Lost Maples State Natural Area Trails, and a perfect spot nearby is Long Hollow. Such a brilliant choice of attractions and such a brilliant variety   of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. Texas has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. Ok, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to go camping, and Garner State Park is a great local campground if you happen to be in Texas. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Long Kent Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Frio River. Garner State Park is pretty waterless frequently; the month with most of the rain is May, and December meanwhile is the driest month.
