| | We have always enjoyed our stays In Galveston Island State Park. The sites are well-maintained, the restrooms clean, and the beach is wonderful! We only wosh we could get there more often! Many times the campground is full, because so many from neighboring towns (especially Houston, where we live) want to stay there, so we the campground is full. The staff is helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the campground, just make your reservations early! Says Mike & Jean Edgar

All through the warm months at Galveston Island State Park highs are commonly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Galveston Island State Park.
