Galveston Island State Park, Texas Custom Search   We have always enjoyed our stays In Galveston Island State Park. The sites are well-maintained, the restrooms clean, and the beach is wonderful! We only wosh we could get there more often! Many times the campground is full, because so many from neighboring towns (especially Houston, where we live) want to stay there, so we the campground is full. The staff is helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the campground, just make your       reservations early! As   if Galveston Island State Park wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, hiking, swimming, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do. The welcoming surroundings and a glorious variety of entertaining things have people coming from far and wide. There is so much enjoyable stuff near Galveston Island State Park; when you spend some time here you will feel like a whole new person. Such a good pick of attractions and such a good variety of outdoors       recreation will make you glad you came. Galveston Island State Park is enormously well liked by the folks of Hitchcock. Boats can be launched at the boat ramp, and bait and tackle is offered at this campground. Outdoors people   generally go for this section of Texas. Several folks stay at Galveston Island State Park when going to Jamaica Beach. If by chance you love comfort, there are pleasant cabins here at Galveston Island State Park. On a sunny day at Galveston Island State Park it's a great idea to have a great picnic at the picnic area.
