Galveston Island State Park, Texas   We have always enjoyed our stays In Galveston Island State Park. The sites are well-maintained, the restrooms clean, and the beach is wonderful! We only wosh we could get there more often! Many times the campground is full, because so many from neighboring towns (especially Houston, where we live) want to stay there, so we the campground is full. The staff is helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the campground, just make your reservations early! Everybody loves Mary Moody Northern Amphitheater, and if you want to hit the beach, Jamaica Beach is around here. There is so much fun stuff to do in close proximity to Galveston Island State Park, and if you're searching for a glorious location to go camping for a couple of days, this is a great selection. The high level of rainfall makes Galveston Island State Park a quite wet place; September is the month that gets the most rain, and March on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Galveston Island State Park. Swamps don’t sound that good but Butterowe Bayou next to Galveston Island State Park is reasonably good, and Palm Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This campground is so magnificent. Galveston Island State Park is right   by the Galveston Island State Park Trail, and Galveston Island State Park is a brilliant place to take a look at. Dana Cove is near Galveston Island State Park and is a great place to explore, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Hitchcock. Some people choose Galveston Island State Park when they come to have a look at Jamaica Beach. We all need to go camping for a couple of days every now and then, and Galveston Island State Park is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in Texas. There's lots of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as swimming, hiking, and fishing, so most likely you want to stay a while. Galveston Island State Park is frequently visited by the people in Hitchcock. Throughout the summertime highs here at Galveston Island State Park reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 40's for Galveston Island State Park.
