This is such a fun spot for a campground. The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Friendly Village, and while you're here you can play some golf at Los Lagos Golf Club. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Friendly Village called the Bentsen - Rio Grande Valley State Park Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Alamo here.

Friendly Village is a very popular old favorite campground among visitors from Alamo. The wonderful people who manage this spot and the glorious quality of everything here attract folks from far and near.

| the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and overnight lows at Friendly Village throughout the winter generally drop into the 40's.
If the weather is splendid here at Friendly Village, you can go for a hike along the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge Trail, and a spree to Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
