Fort Retire, Texas   Lots of folks from Bigfoot come to Fort Retire, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Geronimo Creek. From a rainfall point of view Fort Retire is a rather typical place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. Pack your camping stuff and start your engine; Fort Retire in Texas is the outdoors at its finest. High temperatures at Fort Retire during the summer months are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures     drop down into the 70's.
