KOA is North Jetty, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at South Padre Island KOA; through September this area sees the most rain, and March meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime
brings highs in the 90's to South Padre Island KOA. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 60's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at South Padre
Island KOA drop into the 50's.
While you're here at South Padre Island KOA you have to have a look at Back Bay; a day at Del Mar Beach is time well spent. What a site this is for outdoors folks.
