| | Everybody should go for a camping trip occasionally; Crip's Camp in Texas is the outdoors at its greatest. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. Taking a little trip to close by Goose Prairie is a glorious idea, and Atlanta State Park is a great site to go.
It's just not possible to run out of cool things to do close to Crip's Camp; it is a pleasant escape from everyday life.
Lots of people stay at this campground so they can go to Caddo Lake State. At Crip's Camp during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's, and |
all through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Crip's Camp during the winter ordinarily drop into the 30's.

Crip's Camp is often visited by the people in Karnack. While you're here at Crip's Camp you will meet lots of people from nearby Karnack, and a great swamp right next door to Crip's Camp is Mossy Brake. Looking for some flowing water? Try Harrison Bayou; lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Mound Pond.
