Cold Springs is a campground quite often visited by people of Rio Frio. It's completely out of the question to get bored in Texas if you go for the outdoors. Got cabin fever from too much time indoors, No problem; Cold Springs is a good local campground if you happen to be in Texas. The welcoming staff and the magnificent large number of fun activities have people coming here.

    are great reasons to come. Loads of people choose Cold Springs for the purpose of being near Garner State Park.
Some of the things you can do here at Cold Springs are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get
 bored. Cold Springs is situated in an area with scores of entertaining stuff to do, and if you're trying to find a good place to go camping for a couple of days, this is a magnificent choice.
The Garner State Park to Concan sector on Frio River is a close by class II-III whitewater stretch, 12 miles from start to finish. This stretch of Frio River is recommended for whitewater boaters of medium skill. If by chance you are going whitewater paddling, you should
 
    always check current conditions. Hiking along the Lost Maples State Natural Area Trails is good fun, and a visit to Garner State Park is a glorious idea. There's some flowing water close by, Little Buffalo Creek is a stream you can
  have a look at while here. A spree to Lost Maples State Natural Area when you're here at Cold Springs is never a bad idea, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Rio Frio here. Cold Springs is right by the Garner State Park Trail, and Sedberry Hollow is another good site to take a look at nearby. At Cold Springs through the summer months highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
