Sam Houston National Forest is a delightful spot, and if you get bored of Carnes Interprises you could also stop at nearby Evans Lake. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Carnes Interprises with nighttime lows in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime
come with highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Carnes Interprises temperatures sink to the 30's.
