Camp Riverview, Texas
|
| | Absolutely loved Camp Riverview. The grounds were very clean (very clean!) Everyone was having a good time, and others were considerate of other campers. The water was down, but there were plenty of deeper water places to swim. The staff was very nice and helpful. The little store was a great find for the kids. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. We will be back. Says Becky Kitchen
My family has been coming to this camp site for over 15 years. We love and we always come back for more Says Joshua Ammons

since I was 8 years old. I'm 28 now and love bringing my kids to enjoy the river. It has a nice cool breeze and the nights can't be more peaceful. The water has shallow parts for the small kids and plenty of action for the adults. Says Houston Gonzalez's

For the duration of the summer months at Camp Riverview highs are mostly in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and night lows at Camp Riverview during the winter typically fall into the 20's. This campground is so wonderful. you're here; it's not far at all. You can run the rapids of Sabinal close to Camp Riverview, and you can catch a glimpse of The Shut-In from Camp Riverview. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You'll meet a lot of people from Concan here, and going
for a hike on the Garner State Park Trail is always a glorious adventure. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Camp Riverview; October is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is December. Camp Riverview is near Garner State Park which is a picturesque spot; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Frio River.
