Brackenridge Plantation Park And Campground, Texas Amenities AMENITIES Tent camping is available - Tent sites provide water and electricity. RV hookups are available - Of the 134 total campsite, we have 36 partial hookups (water, electricity); 82 Full hookups (water, sewer & electricity) and 16 pull thru full hookup sites (water, sewer & electricity) All reservations must be made with a valid credit card. Pets are allowed - Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6' and may not be left unattended. Campfires are allowed - In fire ring that is provided at each campsite. There are times we are under a local burn ban which would take precedence over any open fires. There is also a small grill at each campsite for grilling with charcoal only that is usable even during a burn ban.   Has Store - A small convenience store with drinks, snacks, some rv supplies and gift items. The store is also the camper check-in location. Grocery store nearby - The campground is 7 miles from Edna, Tx where there is a variety of shopping available, Walmart, HEB, etc. No pool No Game Room Showers - We have 4 Air-conditioned Comfort Stations located throughout the campground that include restroom facilities and showers. Laundry facilities - There is a coin operated washer and dryer located in 2 of the 4 comfort stations. Restaurant(s) nearby - Restaurants located in Edna, 7 miles from the Campground and Ganado 10 miles from the Campground, including full menu type restaurants; steaks, etc. Mexican food, Chinese food and various fast food locations including; Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Church's Fried Chicken, McDonald's, sandwich shops and donut shops. Nearby attractions - Most of the activities are right here at the Park & Campground. There is a museum and historical buildings in Edna 7 miles North of the Park as well as some historical murals. There is a restored movie theater in Ganado, TX 10 miles from the Park. We are 25 miles from Victoria, Texas where there are other attractions. Zoo, movie theaters, etc. Main Event Center hosts rodeos, roping, ranch rodeos, and equestrian training events, barrel racing clinics, etc. On a regular basis.
