  Blue Hole Recreation is a very popular campground with campers from Wimberley. This campground is so pretty. If you would like a little side journey, try Heaton Hollow. So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Blue Hole Recreation, and it positively is a perfect campground. If you are in Texas all through camping season, you must go camping.
Pedernales Falls State Park is worth a visit if you're at Blue Hole Recreation, and there's great hiking along the Guadalupe Park Trail. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. The Rim Rock Trail
    offers hiking at its best, and you can run the rapids of Little Blanco River.
There's more to do right next door to Blue Hole Recreation other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. It's unhealthy to be
in a building every day; you've gotta get out sometimes, and Blue Hole Recreation, Texas is a perfect spot for getting out. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Circle C Slaughter Creek Trail; there are plenty of people from Wimberley here.
