| | Bert’s RV Park is a private family owned and operated park just outside Bay City, TX. Located 1 Mile West of the Colorado River on State Hwy 35. Situated on 4 acres with level gravel driveways and pads under a canopy of Live Oak and Pecan trees. Some sites are in the open area if you prefer to not be in the shade. We have WiFi, Cable TV, Laundry, Showers and Propane on-site. Folks that stay at Bert’s know they will have a clean, quiet, safe atmosphere while in the area.

industrial sites such as South Texas Nuclear Project, Conoco Phillips, Phillips Chevron, Williams Energy etc. We provide 24hr quiet for those that might work the night shift and need to get rest during the day.

| Birders or History Buffs. Matagorda County Birding Nature Center is across the street and Mad Island Marsh, just 15 miles away has been #1 in the entire nation for 10 of the past 11 years in the Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count. The mild winter climate is ideal for enjoying our nearby beaches and bays. The fishing is great in October and November. Matagorda County Museum in Bay City is home to an extensive collection of artifacts from LaSalle’s shipwrecked LaBelle. Bay City is ''The Gateway to the Great Outdoors''.

Center is a newly constructed hospital system that has the most up to date equipment and facilities of any major city hospital attracting top notch doctors to the area. The small town atmosphere is dotted with chain restaurants and retail stores. You can get just about anything
you need right here in Bay City. The Downtown Square has a wonderful selection of specialty shops and once a month Market Days is held around the Courthouse grounds.

You'll meet a lot of people from Bay City here; Rio Colorado Golf Course is a good golf course nearby. Bert's RV Park is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with lots
of precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is March. Bay City Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Summer at Bert's RV Park comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 70's.
The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's with temperatures at Bert's RV Park dipping down into the 40's during winter nights.
