The Trout Creek Nature Trail offers hiking at its best, and if by chance you have a boat, Circle T Lodge is a magnificent marina. Nearby lakes? Sure, Kimmey Lake is close to Artesian Springs. If you're   a golfer then a good nearby course is Jasper Country Club; Martin Dies Jr. State Park is both nice and beautiful. If you're here at Artesian Springs, you could stop at Hackberry Branch, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Newton. For the period of the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Artesian Springs.
