Acres Park; since you're here you can play some golf at Tierra Verde Golf Course. This campground is a splendid location to check out. If the weather is fine here at Arlington Forest Acres Park, you can go for a hike along the Mountain Creek Lake Park Trail, and a nice spot like
| Cedar Hill State Park is too great to leave out. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do.
From a precipitation point of view Arlington Forest Acres Park is a reasonably normal spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Timberview Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Loyd Park Trail.

Take a hike on the Village Creek Historical Area Trail. The good variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back repeatedly. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek, and enjoy a round of golf at Mansfield National Golf Club.
