Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Trinity River - West Fork, and a wonderful place like Cleburne State Park is too pleasant to leave out.
A campground like this is too perfect to miss. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails, and a round of golf at nearby Cross Timbers Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. Aaa Twin Points Resort gets a typical amount of rainfall;
May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Eagle Mountain Dam is an interesting thing to check out; hiking is a popular thing to do around Aaa Twin Points Resort; Crosstimbers Trail is a great local trail.
