Tuckaleechee Campground is a very well liked campground by the people in Townsend. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so in
    all probability you want to stick around. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and there's glorious hiking along the Anthony Creek Trail. Yeah, come here to Tuckaleechee Campground for a delightful time.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Oak Trail.
So many cool things to do here at Tuckaleechee Campground, too glorious to be true. Do go to Laurel Lake Dam since you're here at Tuckaleechee Campground; Little River - West Prong has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. This campground is so scenic. Don't leave Tuckaleechee Campground without first checking out Emert Bluff; Laurel Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.
The panoramas at Great Smoky Mountains National Park will blow your mind, and if you like skiing, you're
 
in luck; Ober Gatlinburg is reasonably near. While visiting this vicinity in Tennessee it's a brilliant idea to go camping too. Tuckaleechee Campground is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture.
The view of Luke Mountain from Tuckaleechee Campground is lovely; you can go for a hike on the Rich Mountain Trail. This is in fact a great campground. Lots of folks from Townsend come to Tuckaleechee Campground; the Russell Field Trail offers hiking at its best. A magnificent spot near Tuckaleechee Campground is Campground Hollow, and delightful hiking is available along the Vista Trail.
Visit Carr Creek while you're here at Tuckaleechee Campground, and Fort Loudoun State Park is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit. High temperatures at Tuckaleechee Campground during the days of summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Tuckaleechee Campground.
Such a splendid selection of attractions and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back repeatedly. Tuckaleechee Campground is positioned in a region with scores of fun things to do, and lots of people like to come here to escape.
