Smokey View Campground, Tennessee

Alright, now is a great time to go camping, so what do you say? Smokey View Campground in Tennessee is just what you need. Going for a hike along the Messer Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
There's whitewater on Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong for all you adrenaline people; everybody close by loves skiing at Ober Gatlinburg. This campground is so delightful.
    Since you're here at Smokey View Campground why not check out Cawoods Shoal, and hiking along the Bunches Trace is nice fun. Much rain falls at Smokey View Campground; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; September is when it's the driest.
There are some
good whitewater spots on Little Pigeon River - West Prong, and naturally Shadden Creek flows through this area. At Smokey View Campground cool stuff to do is plentiful, and if you're searching for a wonderful site to go for a weekend of camping, this is a magnificent pick. As if Smokey View Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen.

And that's not all you can do here at Smokey View Campground. Enjoy a round of golf at Dandridge Golf & Country Club not far from Smokey View Campground; do take a hike on the Cove Mountain Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong; Smokey View Campground is not far at all from Dandridge. Summer at Smokey View Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Smokey View Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
This is a delightful campground. Panther Creek State Park is a gorgeous location any time of year; Patriot Hills Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by. Smokey View Campground is a very popular campground with folks from Dandridge.
