the weather is great here at Pearce Place, you can go for a hike along the Short Spur Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Steele Creek Park Lake. The fine local attractions and so much stuff to do will make you glad you came. Pearce
Place is a relatively wet place usually with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest of the months is October. This is such a beautiful campground. Going for a hike along the Old Dug Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area,
and Harrington Hollow is close at hand, and is a good site. Summertime highs at Pearce Place generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime
