Fort wear Campground is a relatively wet
place usually with a large amount of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. With so much to do in Tennessee you'll never get bored. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, and getting to Dry Fork from Fort wear Campground is painless.

Enjoy a round of golf at Gatlinburg City Departments Golf Course not far from Fort wear Campground, and if you haven’t been to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here.
Fort wear Campground is near Panther Creek State Park which is a wonderful place, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Meigs Mountain Trail. The pleasant pick of local attractions, and such a great deal of things to do will certainly have you coming back time and again.
Take a hike on the Cove Mountain Trail. The folks who look after the campground and a lot of entertaining stuff to do attract people from far and wide. This place, Fort wear Campground, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Big Ridge State Park is a nice place to stretch your legs a bit, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Pigeon River - West Prong.
This is such a scenic campground. Cove Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close to Fort wear Campground, naturally you could also have a look at Hidden Mountain Lake Number One since you're here; it's not far at all.
