If you are in Tennessee during camping season, you ought to go camping. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Going for a hike along the Bunches Trace will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Seahorn Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
The high level of rain makes Douglas Lake Camp Ground a quite wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. Take a hike on the Stone Mountain Trail, and of course, everybody loves Panther Creek State Park.
The tremendous variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Spring Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Lower Whiterock Trail.
