Near Chilhowee Rec Area you find a golf course called Cherokee Springs Golf Course, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Arbutus Trail.

All the water falling down from the sky makes Chilhowee Rec Area a wet spot; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is regularly the driest month. The Azalea Trail is a fine hiking trail near Chilhowee Rec Area, and a visit to Red Clay State Park is a splendid idea.

There's absolutely no way to run out of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Chilhowee Rec Area; it's always fun to be at this campground. This campground is so good. For
you golfers we recommend close by Rolling Hills Golf Club, and Cleveland Country Club is a golf course nearby. All through the summertime here at Chilhowee Rec Area, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. Highs through the
wintertime are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Chilhowee Rec Area.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Fillauer Branch is a great place to stop at, and Conasauga River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. A number of people
select Chilhowee Rec Area when they come to have a look at Red Clay State Park.
The welcoming folks working here and the tremendous great quantity of fun activities are reason enough to come here.
