| | Spearfish City Campground is one of the prettiest campgrounds in the Black Hills. It has a creek and TONS of trees and a very rustic feel but with great service and flat sites. Going to the adjacent fish hatchery or city playground provides hours of family fun. I now live in MN, but when I travel to the Black Hills, this is where I coose to stay. Says Jody

is such a fun thing to do. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spearfish City Campground, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spearfish City Campground.
| This is such a gorgeous campground. Spearfish City Campground is right by the Bear Gulch Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spearfish Creek. Spearfish City Campground is frequently visited by folks in Spearfish.

Trail offers hiking at its best, and one of the principal traits of the surroundings of Spearfish City Campground is Lookout Peak. Spearfish City Campground is located in a vicinity with lots of exciting things to do, and it's always fun being here.
The good variety of local
attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
This campground is always a delight. And that's not all you can do here in the Black Hills. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spearfish City Campground; Rim Rock Trail is a nice local trail;
Bear Butte State Park is a magnificent spot to go. Enjoy a round of golf at Spearfish Canyon Golf Course not far from Spearfish City Campground, and Terry Peak is a pleasant local ski area.
Go for a hike on the Big Hill Ski Trail, and Fish Hatchery Gulch is another great location
to visit close by. It's bad for you to spend too much time in the city; you've gotta get out every now and then, and Spearfish City Campground in South Dakota is the outdoors at its finest.
It is very dehydrated here at Spearfish City Campground mostly; through June this area
sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. Yeah, come here to Spearfish City Campground for a pleasant time. Good hiking is available along the Beaver Ridge Trail, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Spearfish for sure.
