| | Spearfish City Campground is one of the prettiest campgrounds in the Black Hills. It has a creek and TONS of trees and a very rustic feel but with great service and flat sites. Going to the adjacent fish hatchery or city playground provides hours of family fun. I now live in MN, but when I travel to the Black Hills, this is where I coose to stay. Says Jody

The welcoming people working here and all the exciting stuff are in themselves cause enough to come here. There's no way to run out of exciting stuff to do close to Spearfish City Campground; campgrounds like
these are good. This campground is a lovely spot to check out. Take a hike on the Beaver Ridge Trail.
The Black Hills scenery is always lovely. South Dakota is a good site for outdoors people.
