Sheridan Lake - Black Hills National Forest, Black Hills, South Dakota Custom Search   At last, camping time is here again, and Sheridan Lake in South Dakota is the outdoors at its most excellent. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Terry Peak while you're here; since you're here you can take a hike along the Rapid Creek Trail. If time allows, Jewel Cave National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Silver Arrow Trail. For the duration of the long summer days at Sheridan Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly     in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sheridan Lake. At Sheridan Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This place, the Black Hills, has so much outdoors cool things. Custer State Park is a great location to visit on a beautiful day, and a trip to Mount Rushmore National Memorial is worthwhile. South Dakota has loads of outdoors activities. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Sheridan Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Tomahawk Country Club; Windy Flats is a pretty place any time of year. The caring surroundings and a great variety of exciting things makes the tour here worthwhile. This campground has so much amusing   stuff to offer. It's out of the question to run out of exciting things to do close to Sheridan Lake; what a perfect place for camping it is. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Black Hills. Not far from Sheridan Lake, you'll stumble on Reausaw Lake which is a wonderful lake, and get wet paddling on Spearfish Creek. This campground is so splendid. This is a popular location for people from Deadwood, and a journey to Bear Butte State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is playing golf, swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. This camp ground is one of the fine locations to camp here in the Black Hills. The splendid local attractions and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back repeatedly.
