Pactola Reservoir - Black Hills National Forest, Black Hills, South Dakota   There's such a great deal of things to do at Pactola Reservoir including hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Black Hills has it all. There     are plenty of folks from Deadwood here at Pactola Reservoir. For the duration of the summertime months at Pactola Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pactola Reservoir. Camping out really is a pleasant thing to do, and Pactola Reservoir is a delightful local campground if you happen to be in South Dakota. Good hiking is available along the Rapid Creek Trail; Bear Butte State Park is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Pactola Reservoir. Everybody loves Windy Flats; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Terry Peak. Be careful coming to the Black Hills, you might not ever want   to return home again. Get dripping wet paddling on Spearfish Creek, and Jewel Cave National Monument is a very magnificent site to stop at. All the cheery people and the great abundance of fun activities have lots of folks coming here. Pactola Reservoir is a campground that is enormously esteemed by the residents of Deadwood. All the glorious local attractions close at hand and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back many times. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Tomahawk Country Club, and places like Custer State Park are delightful to go to. Pactola Reservoir is one of the spots to camp here in the Black Hills. At Pactola Reservoir you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during June, and January on the other hand is the driest. As long as you have a thing about the outdoors you will have a thing about South Dakota.
