A fine place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Oreville Campground is Spearfish Creek, and going for a hike on the Silver Arrow Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Oreville Campground is a campground loved by the people from Deadwood. Head up to Terry Peak and strap some skis to your feet, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Tomahawk Country Club. Not much precipitation falls here at Oreville Campground; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You have to get out, and Oreville Campground in South Dakota is a magnificent site to go. This is a magnificent campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's playing golf, swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
