Go for a hike on the Horse Thief Lake Trail, and a trip to Bear Butte State Park revitalizes the spirit.

There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Lazy J RV Park and Kampground called the Iron Creek Trail; if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Executive Golf Course.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a good local destination here at Lazy J RV Park and Kampground, and Lazy J RV Park and Kampground is not the only spot nearby, Canyon Lake is a nearby lake. Lazy J RV Park and Kampground is enormously popular with the people of Rapid City.
A number of people stay here when they come to visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The Black Hills scenery is always charming. All the brilliant local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently.
If time
allows, Jewel Cave National Monument is a national park worth stopping at, and close by you come across the Iron Mountain Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This is such a charming campground. Custer State Park is a magnificent location to pop by, and you're sure to run into
some fine people from Rapid City here. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Lazy J RV Park and Kampground. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lazy J RV Park and Kampground drop into the 0's.
