J Rafter Bar Ranch is a very popular old favorite campground among the people in Hill City. This spot, the Black Hills, has so much outdoors amusing things. The best way to spend a winter
| day is on the slopes of nearby Terry Peak, and swing by South Slate Creek it's a glorious place to have a look at.
The staff that controls this campground and lots of exciting stuff to do are pretty mind-blowing. J Rafter Bar Ranch is a location that is quite dried up typically; the month with most of the rain is June while January is typically the driest month. Get dripping wet paddling on Spearfish Creek; J Rafter Bar Ranch is a spot with many visitors from Hill City.

Gooseberry Draw is in close proximity to J Rafter Bar Ranch and is a pleasant site, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. A trip to Mount Rushmore National Memorial is recommended, and do take a hike on the Willow Creek Trail.
This is such a wonderful
campground. If you haven’t been to Jewel Cave National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around J Rafter Bar Ranch; Sunday Gulch Trail is a magnificent local trail. So many amusing things to do in the Black Hills,
not enough time. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Thompson Reservoir in the vicinity of J Rafter Bar Ranch, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Silver Arrow Trail. There's such an incredible array of things to do at J Rafter Bar Ranch including
whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so running out of amusing stuff to do won’t happen.
South Dakota is a fine place for campers. This is such a magnificent campground. Good hiking is available along the Rapid Creek Trail, and a wonderful place like Custer State
Park is too brilliant to leave out. At J Rafter Bar Ranch during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while J Rafter Bar Ranch overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
