If you come at the right time of year, Spearfish Creek offers some great whitewater; Jewel Cave National Monument is a pleasant local destination. Summertime highs at J Rafter Bar Ranch usually tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for J Rafter Bar Ranch.

Park is a magnificent site to go to on a lovely day; you'll meet a lot of people from Hill City here. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

this campground you will always have a splendid time. Going for a hike on the Rapid Creek Trail is always a nice adventure; Terry Peak has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Hey, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to go camping; J Rafter Bar Ranch in South Dakota is a delightful site to go.
