| | We are a small, family run horse camp. Guests bring their own horses to stay with us and ride in the Black Hills Forest, Custer State Park, and the Black Elk Wilderness Area. You don't have to have a horse to stay with us, but you do have to appreciate them.
The pleasant local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back persistently. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elk Haven Resort; Iron Mountain Trail is a splendid local trail, and Elk Haven Resort is right by the Blackberry Trail. Whohoo, so much |
fun stuff in one place! The Black Hills rocks! The Iron Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and a nice place like Custer State Park is too nice to leave out.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Black Hills has to offer. A great site near Elk
| Haven Resort is Lafferty Gulch; stopping by Angostura Recreation Area is a good thing to do. Elk Haven Resort is a top selection with folks of Keystone.
Some activities here at Elk Haven Resort are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stay a while. It is very dried out here at Elk Haven Resort usually; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month is January. Got cabin fever from too much time inside, Don't fret; Elk Haven Resort in South Dakota is such a tremendous place.

Do pay a visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial while you're here at Elk Haven Resort, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Norbeck Trail. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a wonderful view of Doane Mountain from Elk Haven Resort; there are some good whitewater
spots on Battle Creek. The staff who's always there to be of assistance and all the enjoyable stuff have a lot of people coming here.
At Elk Haven Resort amusing stuff to do is abundant, and spending time at this campground is exceptionally enjoyable. Loads of folks stay at
this campground all through their visit to Custer State Park.
The Black Hills scenery is always lovely. A campground like this is too great to miss. If you're going to Elk Haven Resort from Keystone, you won't be the only one; Jewel Cave National Monument is a good national
park. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Horse Thief Lake right next door to Elk Haven Resort, and hiking along the Horse Thief Lake Trail is nice fun.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Elk Haven Resort.
A visit to South Dakota is not complete without some camping. For the duration of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Elk Haven Resort with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Elk Haven Resort nighttime
low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
