| and don't leave without stopping by Bear Butte State Park. The Black Hills scenery is always beautiful. On a gorgeous day you get a vista of Piedmont Butte from Elk Creek Resort and Lodge; if you're going to from Piedmont, you won't be the only one. choice. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. Going for a hike on the Flume Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and the skiing at Terry Peak is delightful. Some of the things you can do here at Elk Creek Resort and Lodge are hiking, and relaxing,
so you won’t get bored. If you want a little side visit, try Stagebarn Canyon, and a journey to Mount Rushmore National Memorial is worthwhile. This place, Elk Creek Resort and Lodge, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Don't leave Elk Creek Resort and Lodge without
first going for a hike along the Rapid Creek Trail, and obviously Little Elk Creek flows through this neighborhood. Camping in South Dakota is such a fun activity. Elk Creek Resort and Lodge is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Piedmont. And if that's
not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Black Hills. There's great hiking along the Horse Thief Lake Trail; Custer State Park is a fine site to go. For the period of the months of summer here at Elk Creek Resort and Lodge, high temperatures mostly get into
the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while Elk Creek Resort and Lodge nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.

AMENITIES
Tent camping is available - We have space at the Elk Creek Camp, plus additional space in a very large, secluded area over the hill at the Deerview Camp. RV hookups are available - We have 9 full sites and 14 Electric & Water sites at the Elk Creek Camp and 20 full sites and 84 Electric & Water sites at the Deerview Camp. Pets are allowed - They must be kept on a leash at all times and you must clean up after them. If they are left alone in one of our rooms they must be contained in a kennel. Campfires are allowed - Campfires are allowed at the discretion of the Resort Owner. Our fire danger fluctuates wildly so we cannot make a blanket statement on this. Has Store - We have basic foods and supplies. Grocery store nearby - There is a very large, well supplies store within two miles. Pool - We have a very nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Game Room - Our game room is open on request.
RATES: Tenting rates start at $10. RV rates start at $21.95.
