Dutchman - Black Hills National Forest, Black Hills, South Dakota   Dutchman is situated in an area with loads of amusing things to do, and it is a very splendid campground. This is a glorious campground. A journey to Bear Butte State Park when you're here at Dutchman is never a bad idea; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spearfish Creek. All the merry folks and the exceptionally satisfactorily managed facilities are a glorious draw for a lot of people. If you are in South Dakota during camping season, you should go camping. All the outdoors cool things right     next door to Dutchman will keep you coming back repeatedly. There are magnificent places to explore along the Rapid Creek Trail, and if you have time, Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a national park worth stopping at. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. High temperatures at Dutchman through the summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Dutchman. Dutchman is exceptionally popular with people of Deadwood. So many local attractions and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. Custer State Park is a great spot to stop by on a delightful day, and golf can be played   at Tomahawk Country Club. Dutchman is one of the locations to camp here in the Black Hills. Dutchman is a location with many visitors from Deadwood, and you can go for a hike on the Silver Arrow Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more fun things to do in the Black Hills. Gotta ski! Terry Peak is a fine place to do that; while you're here at Dutchman it's a nice idea to pop by Windy Flats. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Black Hills. Jewel Cave National Monument is a magnificent local destination here at Dutchman. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, No problem at all; Dutchman is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in South Dakota. Dutchman is pretty dry usually; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
