| | Deer Mountain Campground is a very well prized campground by the people from Lead. Such a good pick of attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back repeatedly. This camp ground is one of the great sites to camp here in the Black Hills.
This campground has so much entertaining stuff to offer. Get soaked paddling on Spearfish Creek; the Big Hill Ski Trail offers hiking at its best. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Lead Country Club, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along |
the Pettigrew Trail.
Deer Mountain Campground is pretty arid regularly; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Everybody close by loves skiing at Terry Peak; Sugarloaf Mountain can be seen from Deer Mountain
| Campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Deer Mountain Campground. There are other locations here than Deer Mountain Campground, for example Woodville Lake, and you could always explore Stewart Gulch.
Just can't get enough of the Black Hills. Bear Butte State Park is a splendid place to stop by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Beaver Ridge Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Black Hills. Ruby Flats is a good site, and hiking along the Iron Creek Trail is wonderful fun. | |

in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Deer Mountain Campground are in the 10's.
