| | Nice facility. Friendly, helpful staff. We just returned from 3 nights of tent-camping there. Only complaint- 16 hwy was a bit more active at night than we would hope. Again, in a tent, you hear it all. Didn't realize the alternate bathhouse was the one with all the remodel until our last day-very nice!!!!! Says City folk

A tour to Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve when you're here at Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa is a good idea, and lots of folks from Custer come here. Buckhorn Mountain is clearly visible from Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa, and the Sunday Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best. You're possibly
interested in lakes, Ventling Reservoir is one of those close by, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Sylvan Lake Harney Trail. The caring folks working here and all the cool stuff to do are quite incredible. During the summertime months at Custer - Mt Rushmore
Koa highs are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa tend to be in the 0's. This campground is so tremendous. Take a hike on
the Paha Sapa Trail. There's more to do near Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa other than just hanging out such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and playing golf, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. This is a tremendous campground. A wonderful site like Custer State Park next
to Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa is too delightful to leave out; Jewel Cave National Monument is a wonderful local destination. Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa is a top selection campground with people of Custer. Custer - Mt Rushmore Koa is a location that is quite dry regularly; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January.
