Bear Gulch - Black Hills National Forest, Black Hills, South Dakota   All the positive people and the competently controlled operations have people coming from far and near. Bear Butte State Park is both brilliant and lovely, and it's in the neighborhood of Bear Gulch, and Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a magnificent national park. All through the long summer days highs here at Bear Gulch reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bear Gulch.     Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of Bear Gulch. Tomahawk Country Club is a golf course in the neighborhood of Bear Gulch, and you can run the rapids of Spearfish Creek. Quite a lot of exciting things to do near Bear Gulch; when you're here you're always having a fine time. We all need to go for a weekend of camping now and then; Bear Gulch in South Dakota is such a fine location. A tour to Jewel Cave National Monument is worthwhile, and this is a popular location for people from Deadwood. Good hiking is available along the Silver Arrow Trail, and the snow is good at Terry Peak. So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will absolutely have you coming back time and again. While visiting this region in South Dakota it's a fine idea to go for a weekend of camping too. It   is very arid here at Bear Gulch usually; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. This campground is so perfect. Don't leave Bear Gulch without first going for a hike along the Rapid Creek Trail, and Windy Flats is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit. As if Bear Gulch wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Black Hills. Bear Gulch is next to Custer State Park which is a lovely location. Bear Gulch is situated in the Black Hills.
