Pinecone Campground, South Carolina

When we stayed at Pinecone Campground we had a very great time. Even though we read some not-so-good reviews, we had lots of fun. The childern enjoyed the pool and the golf carts and even the teenagers that were there had fun. It is a good family invironment and a good place to go and relax. We havee stayed there since and we will continue to go back. We camped in tents. Says Parker family

be disappointed; there's whitewater paddling, and relaxing, so you won’t get bored. Places like Croft State Park are pleasant to stop by, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lawsons Fork Creek.

It's just not possible to get bored in South Carolina if you love the outdoors. The high level of rain makes Pinecone Campground a relatively wet site; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. This is a popular location for folks from Lockhart.
