| | When we stayed at Pinecone Campground we had a very great time. Even though we read some not-so-good reviews, we had lots of fun. The childern enjoyed the pool and the golf carts and even the teenagers that were there had fun. It is a good family invironment and a good place to go and relax. We havee stayed there since and we will continue to go back. We camped in tents. Says Parker family

There is so much fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Pinecone Campground, and it's one of those sites where everything is tremendous. Ready to raise that tent; Pinecone Campground in South Carolina is a tremendous site to go. The nice folks of Lockhart like to hang out nearby, and Adams Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. are glorious reasons to come. Get soaked paddling on Lawsons Fork Creek, and if you want a little side spree, try Skull Shoals. The workforce who's always there to help and the wonderful abundance of fun activities beat anything. South Carolina is a tremendous outdoors state.
Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Kings Branch, and stopping by Croft State Park is a glorious thing to do. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Pinecone Campground. Some nearby water includes Big Branch. During the months of summer at Pinecone
Campground highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Pinecone Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
