Places like Givhans Ferry State Park are splendid to pop by; McChune Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. This campground has everything. A journey to Fort Sumter National Monument is recommended, and since you're here you can play some golf at Crowfied Golf & Country Club. This part of South Carolina is always a delight to check out through camping season. Charleston Koa is a place with many visitors from Ladson; Coosaw Creek Country Club Golf is a fine golf course nearby. Charleston Koa sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month is November.
