This is a wonderful campground. The friendly people of Columbia like to hang out nearby, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Saluda River. If you come at the right time of year, Broad River offers some splendid whitewater; a tour to Congaree Swamp National Monument is worthwhile.
Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do near Capital City Campground; when you're here you're always having a wonderful time. Capital City Campground is a popular spot with the folks of Blythewood.
It's a splendid idea to stop at Dry Fork Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Capital City Campground, and a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Sesquicentennial State Park.
