Get dripping wet paddling on Matunuck Shore Break, and skiing at Yawgoo Valley is one of those things you just should do. Why not check   out a swamp like Mishnock Swamp while you're here at Westwood Ymca, and whitewater paddling is good on Clear and Branch. The summit of Hungry Hill can be spotted from Westwood Ymca; Westwood Ymca is right by the Ross Trail. A campground like this is too nice to miss. Raymonds Point is right next door to Westwood Ymca and is a glorious site to have a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River. This is a nice campground. Enjoy a round of golf at Exeter Country Club not far from Westwood Ymca, and Hopeville Pond State Park is a wonderful spot any time of year. A tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. Quaddick State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and why not stop at Flat River Reservoir Dam if you're here. This campground is so nice. While you're here at Westwood Ymca you can play some golf at Coventry Pines Country Club, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail. All through the long summer days here at Westwood Ymca, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while Westwood Ymca overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. The kind staff and all the entertaining things are cause enough to come here. Do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor if you're here at Westwood Ymca, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bear Brook is a stream you can stop by while here.
