a nice place to visit. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Island Park Beach, and nearby you find Weaver Cove. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Melville Campground Recreation Area is Matunuck Shore Break, and playing golf is lots of fun at Green Valley
Country Club.
All the merry people and scores of enjoyable stuff to do attract people from all over. Summertime at Melville Campground Recreation Area comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Melville Campground Recreation Area plunge into the 10's.
