Going for a hike along the Border Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you're keen on cool geologic marks try Garvy Ledges. 10's. The summit of Wolf Hill can be distinguished from Echo Lake Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Assabet River. The good folks who run this spot and the skillfully managed operations are in themselves reason enough

A spree to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and unsurprisingly Brandy Brook flows through this region. Alright, it's been too much time since you went outside, time's here for camping; Echo Lake Campground is a good local campground
