from Thompson, and great hiking is available along the Munyan Trail. Stump Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; the Walkabout Trail offers hiking at its best. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear and Branch, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage
Corridor is one of the destinations that are great to stop by close by. Some folks stay here to check out close by Quaddick State Park. Everybody loves Quaddick State Park, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ross Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors
