| | My family is staying at a seasonal site at Bowdish for summer 2006. I cannot stop raving about this family run & owned campground!! We are having SO much fun, that we are going to book seasonal for next summer as well. Look up their website for more info. They are worth the trip from wherever you may be coming. recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground is so wonderful. The friendly people of Pascoag like to hang out nearby, and Clear and Branch has a delightful
| whitewater paddling spot close by. Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a relatively wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things next to Bowdish Lake Camping Area. What would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley, and going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a glorious adventure. in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bowdish Lake Camping Area. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. Hemlock Ledges is an exciting thing to make
out since you're here at Bowdish Lake Camping Area; don't leave Bowdish Lake Camping Area without first going for a hike along the Ross Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. A visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and
since you're here, you could also take a look at wonderful Bowdish Reservoir. Paddling on Quinebaug River is so much fun; nearby you discover the Walkabout Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. George Washington Memorial State Forest is worth stopping at; do stop at Shady Oak
Brook if you're here at Bowdish Lake Camping Area. Places like Quaddick State Park are great to stop at, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a wonderful place nearby. The delightful local attractions and so many things to do will make you pleased you came.
Douglas State Forest is a wonderful spot; why not have a look at Bowdish Reservoir Dam since you're here. Some people pick this campground when they come to go to Quaddick State Park. Soar down the rapids of Natchaug River in a kayak, and there are great locations to explore along
the Munyan Trail. Outdoors people generally like this section of Rhode Island. Quite a lot of fun things to do near Bowdish Lake Camping Area; when you're here you're always having a great time. Bowdish Lake Camping Area is loved by people in Pascoag. The personnel who's always there to help out and all the fun things to do have people coming here.
